NEMATÓIDE DAS LESÕES RADICULARES NA CULTURA DO ARROZ: UMA PRAGA SUPERESTIMADA
O arroz é uma das culturas de grande expressividade comercial no Brasil, sendo o nosso país o segundo maior produtor do grão fora do continente asiático. Existe diversos nematoides que acometem a cultura do arroz, dentre os mais de 150 destaca-se os do gênero Pratylenchus (nematoides das lesões radiculares). Os danos acometidos pelo nematoide das lesões radiculares são desde áreas escurecidas ou enrijecidas nas raízes, como também redução do volume do sistema radicular, tudo isso influenciando na redução da produtividade da cultura. Não existe uma literatura específica para Pratylenchus na cultura do arroz disponível no Brasil, no qual trás um compilado de informações, desta forma neste capitulo iremos abordar a descrição, meios de controle e ensaios realizados por diversos pesquisadores.

Abstract:
Rice is one of the most commercially significant crops in Brazil, and our country is the second largest producer of the grain outside the Asian continent. There are several nematodes that affect rice culture, among the more than 150 the Pratylenchus genus (nematodes of root lesions) stand out. The damage affected by the nematode of the root lesions ranges from darkened or stiff areas in the roots, as well as a reduction in the volume of the root system, all of which influences the reduction of the crop's productivity. There is no specific literature for Pratylenchus on rice culture available in Brazil, which brings a compilation of information, so in this chapter we will address the description, means of control and tests performed by several researchers.
