Abstract: This bibliographical text analyzes the importance of narratives by Black women for the project: “Ethnographic Narratives of Black Women Graduates from the Education of Young Adults and the Elderly in Guaratinga/BA”. The study seeks to highlight how these narratives are essential for understanding the relationships between race, gender, and class, drawing on authors such as Lélia Gonzalez (1988), Patricia Hill Collins (2019), Conceição Evaristo (2005), Bell Hooks (1995), Sueli Carneiro (2005), and Maria Aparecida Bento (2002). Listening to and recording these stories constitutes a political, ethical, and epistemological act that rescues silenced voices. Sensitive listening and reflective writing reveal experiences of resistance, reparation, and social transformation produced by Black women. Keywords: Ethnographic narratives, Black women, EPJAI (Education for Young Adults and the Elderly).
