NARRATIVAS DE EXPERIÊNCIAS INTERGERACIONAIS EM UM PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO: IMPLICAÇÕES NA FORMAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E PESSOAL DOS ACADÊMICOS
Modificações econômicas, sociais e culturais nos últimos anos provocaram alterações na organização da sociedade, principalmente, pelo fortalecimento do modelo capitalista de produção do trabalho. Esse contexto tornou-se favorecedor aos jovens, considerados adequados para o trabalho, porém os velhos foram sendo afastados do convívio social por não atenderem às expectativas do mercado. Consequentemente esse cenário social afetou os modos de relação e provocou um distanciamento geracional que culminou em preconceitos e estereótipos presentes até hoje. Diante disso, surge a necessidade de se pensar formas de aproximação entre as gerações a fim de desconstruir ideias pré-estabelecidas sobre a pessoa idosa. Isso é possível através da promoção de programas e criação de projetos que incentivam a convivência intergeracional. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo analisar narrativas da experiência de universitárias que participaram de um projeto de extensão o qual possibilitava uma convivência direta entre jovens estudantes e idosos de uma Instituição de Longa Permanência para Idosos (ILPI). Os dados da pesquisa foram coletados através de entrevista não diretiva e analisados pela Análise de Conteúdo. As entrevistadas foram três universitárias dos cursos de Fisioterapia, Psicologia e Enfermagem que participavam do projeto. As narrativas das estudantes mostraram que a participação no projeto de extensão permitiu aproximação com a história dos idosos através dos seus relatos autobiográficos. Além disso, houve impactos subjetivos na vida das estudantes quando rememoravam suas vivências na ILPI, apresentando aspectos de suas vidas pessoais. Por fim concluiu-se que a experiência intergeracional das estudantes nesse projeto possibilitou um espaço educativo e formativo, sendo percebidas mudanças de olhar sobre os velhos e a velhice, troca de saberes, formação profissional e pessoal e transformações na maneira de pensar e perceber o mundo.

Abstract:
Economic, social and cultural changes in recent years have caused changes in the organization of society, mainly by strengthening the capitalist model of labor production. This context became favorable to young people, considered suitable for the job, but the old people were being removed from social life because they did not meet market expectations. Consequently, this social scenario affected the modes of relationship and caused a generational distance that culminated in prejudices and stereotypes that are still present. In view of this, there is a need to think about ways of bringing the generations together in order to deconstruct pre-established ideas about the elderly. This is possible through the promotion of programs and the creation of projects that encourage intergenerational coexistence. The present work aimed to analyze narratives of the experience of university students who participated in an extension project which made possible a direct coexistence between young students and the elderly of a Long Stay Institution for the Elderly. The research data were collected through a non-directive interview and analyzed by Content Analysis. The interviewees were three university students from the Physical Therapy, Psychology and Nursing courses who participated in the project. The students' narratives showed that participation in the extension project allowed an approximation with the history of the elderly through their autobiographical reports. In addition, there were subjective impacts on the students' lives when they recalled their experiences at the long-term nursing home, presenting aspects of their personal lives. Finally, it was concluded that the intergenerational experience of the students in this project enabled an educational and training space, with changes in looking at the elderly and old age, exchange of knowledge, professional and personal training and changes in the way of thinking and perceiving the world. -
