Não-pertença: uma definição psicossocial
O presente artigo tematiza o sentimento de não-pertença, ou seja, de inadequação experienciado pelo indivíduo moderno. Assim, tal sentimento compõe nosso objeto de estudo. Desse modo, objetivamos definir a não-pertença, e fazemo-lo por meio de afirmações sobre estudos hegelianos do sociólogo alemão Axel Honneth, da definição de identidade e pertencimento de Zygmunt Bauman, da hierarquia das necessidades humanas do psicólogo Abraham Maslow e, principalmente, da psicologia social de George H. Mead. Além disso, propomos uma relação entre nossa definição de não-pertença e a atitude contemporânea do filósofo italiano Giorgio Agamben. Destarte, concluímos que a não-pertença, além de possuir cunho histórico-político e estar relacionada à modernidade líquida, é o sentimento fruto do desequilíbrio entre as fases do self. Tal desequilíbrio figura o oposto da atitude contemporânea de lucidez sobre frente o próprio tempo.

Abstract:
This paper addresses the sense of not belonging, that is, of inadequacy experienced by the modern individual. Thus, such feeling makes up our object of study. Thus, we aim to define sense of not belonging, and we do so through statements about Hegelian studies by the German sociologist Axel Honneth, the definition of identity and belonging of Zygmunt Bauman, the hierarchy of human needs of the psychologist Abraham Maslow and, mainly, of the social psychology of George H. Mead. In addition, we propose a relationship between our definition of the sense of not belonging and the contemporary attitude of the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben. Thus, we conclude that the sense of not belonging, in addition to having a historical-political nature and being related to liquid modernity, is the feeling resulting from the imbalance between the phases of the self. Such an imbalance is the opposite of the contemporary attitude of lucidity over time itself.
