MÚSICA, EDUCAÇÃO E VALORIZAÇÃO DA CULTURA INDÍGENA MACUXI, A PARTIR DA “BANDA CRUVIANA” DA UFRR
A música fronteiriça, transculturada entre o moderno e tradição indígena de Roraima é o principal objeto de nossa pesquisa. A etnia macuxi é a maior representante indígena na região Norte e a sua musicalidade, como a da dança parixara, é posta a dialogar com as composições autorais da Banda Cruviana, banda formada por alunos do Instituto Insikiran da UFRR. Iremos apresentar a música como ferramenta educativo-cultural que fomenta o respeito mútuo entre povos que convergem em algum ponto e que devem valorizar suas práticas históricas. Esta pesquisa busca responder a seguinte problemática: Como as ações do Programa Insikiran Anna Eserenka, através da utilização dos elementos artístico-musicais da etnia Macuxi, contribuem para a valorização da cultura indígena na formação dos acadêmicos que compõe a Banda Cruviana da UFRR?

Abstract:
The frontier music, transcultured between the modern and indigenous tradition of Roraima is the main object of our research. The Macuxi ethnic group is the largest indigenous representative in the North and their musicality, like that of the parixara dance, is set to dialogue with the authorial compositions of Banda Cruviana, a band formed by students from the Instituto Insikiran of UFRR. We will present music as an educational-cultural tool that fosters mutual respect among people who converge at some point and who must value their historical practices. This research seeks to answer the following problem: How do the actions of the Insikiran Anna Eserenka Program, through the use of the artistic-musical elements of the Macuxi ethnic group, contribute to the valorization of indigenous culture in the training of academics that make up the UFRR Cruvian Band?
