Abstract: The present study is about the experience report of an extension practice carried out during the 1st semester of 2021, by academics of the Physical Education and Physiotherapy courses of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, through the Quality of Life for All Project (PQVT). This report presents different approaches used in remote classes of a student with Down Syndrome (DS). The study aims to report and describe a multidisciplinary experience with the use of music in a playful approach for children with intellectual disabilities. The meetings were held weekly where, always using music in a playful way, different themes were presented in each class so that the virtual assistance did not become repetitive and/or monotonous. After this period, we can see that the use of music in a playful way in classes with Children with Down Syndrome, helped in the discipline during the sessions, in increasing the focus, in addition to improving the teacher-student relationship.
