Abstract: This article aims to reflect on the teaching performance in the face of emerging themes such as multiculturalism, multireferentialism and transdisciplinarity. It makes an analytical approach to these themes based on the thoughts of its main critics and theorists, seeking a convergence to broaden the discussions around these contributions to the construction of a new praxis. It also talks about the contribution of Physical Education and Law 10.639/2003 to the debate on the forms of teaching and the new readings of dialogue in the school, in society and in the community based on their realities and conflicts. We aim to highlight the possibilities of building a praxis that values the cultural and the communitarian as pillars of a plural, creative and more humane society.
