MULTICULTURALISMO E EDUCAÇÃO: REFLEXÕES CONTEMPORÂNEAS DESTA RELAÇÃO DE CRISE
O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em uma reflexão crítica entre o multiculturalismo e a educação, tendo como base esta relação de crise em uma sociedade contemporânea. Nota-se que as sociedades contemporâneas são heterogêneas, plurais, formadas por diferentes grupos e interesses divergentes, isto é, apresentam identidades culturais em conflitos. Cabe ressaltar que essas diferenças estão em permanente contato no âmbito escolar, porém muitas vezes a interação entre a cultura e os espaços educacionais são entraves para a plenitude da cidadania. Este estudo busca realizar essa reflexão com o auxílio das análises desenvolvidas por autores da sociologia e da educação de modo a ampliar a compreensão entre multiculturalismo e educação. Desse modo, visa a contribuir para reflexões que objetiva construir espaços educacionais democráticos e plurais.

Abstract:
The objective of this work consists of a critical reflection between multiculturalism and education, based on this crisis relationship in a contemporary society. It is noted that contemporary societies are heterogeneous, plural, formed by different groups and divergent interests, that is, they present cultural identities in conflicts. It is worth mentioning that these differences are in permanent contact in the school environment, but often the interaction between culture and educational spaces are obstacles to the fullness of citizenship. This study seeks to carry out this reflection with the aid of analyzes developed by authors from sociology and education in order to broaden the understanding between multiculturalism and education. In this way, it aims to contribute to reflections that aim to build democratic and plural educational spaces.
