MULHERES/AMANTES: REPRESENTAÇÕES SOBRE A CONDIÇÃO DE SER A “OUTRA”
Não existe algo tão particular e íntimo que a relação afetiva/amorosa entre um homem e uma mulher. No entanto, tal relação é também social e histórica. Quando analisadas pelos historiadores as relações, sejam elas amorosas ou de qualquer outra natureza, ganham uma nova dimensão - uma dimensão histórico-social. Este trabalho destaca, em primeiro momento, um pouco da história de algumas mulheres que se tornaram conhecidas por terem vivido na condição de amantes de homens que exerceram importantes papeis políticos na história. Em segundo momento, visa compreender as representações e os sentimentos de mulheres comuns, que vivem ou viveram na condição de “a outra”. Metodologicamente utilizamos pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e empírica, seguida da análise qualitativa dos dados. O estudo constatou que a infidelidade masculina é socialmente aceitável e justificada, enquanto que as mulheres consideradas infiéis, ou em condição de amante de homens casados, são sempre discriminadas ou julgadas socialmente. Não obstante, muitas demonstram felicidade diante de sua condição.

Abstract:
There is nothing so private and intimate as the affective/loving relationship between a man and a woman. However, this relationship is also social and historical. When analyzed by historians, relationships, whether love or of any other nature, gain a new dimension - a historical-social dimension. This work highlights, at first, a little of the history of some women who became known for having lived as lovers of men who played important political roles in history. Secondly, it aims to understand the representations and feelings of common women, who live or have lived in the condition of “the other”. Methodologically, we used bibliographic, documentary and empirical research, followed by qualitative data analysis. The study found that male infidelity is socially acceptable and justified, while women considered unfaithful, or in love with married men, are always discriminated against or socially judged. Nevertheless, many show happiness in the face of their condition.
