MULHERES INDÍGENAS E FEMINISMOS – UM ENCONTRO PARA DESCOLONIZAR CONCEITOS A PARTIR DO MOVIMENTO DE MULHERES INDÍGENAS NO BRASIL
Esse ensaio aborda, a partir da trajetória pessoal da autora junto aos povos indígenas, a potência do encontro entre o movimento de mulheres indígenas e os debates feministas, apontando os limites de um feminismo branco e urbanocentrado em compreender e dialogar com as demandas das mulheres indígenas. Se a luta das mulheres indígenas complexifica os feminismos, possibilitando descolonizar conceitos, ao mesmo tempo é afetada pela luta das mulheres não indígenas.

Abstract:
This essay addresses – considering the author’s personal trajectory alongside indigenous peoples – the power of the encounter between the indigenous women’s movement and feminist debates, pointing out the limitations of a white-urbancentric feminism to comprehend and dialogue with the demands of indigenous women. The indigenous women’s struggle complexifies feminisms, allowing the decolonization of concepts, while being influenced by non indigenous women’s struggle.
