MULHERES, FORÇAS ARMADAS E GÊNERO: BREVES NOTAS SOBRE POTENCIALIDADES E DESAFIOS
Este capítulo tem por objetivo refletir sobre a inclusão feminina nas Forças Armadas, trazendo uma discussão a partir da perspectiva de gênero. Datando da década de 80, o ingresso das mulheres nas fileiras militares deu início a uma quebra de paradigma de que nem toda atividade desenvolvida por homens poderia, de igual modo, ser desempenhada por mulheres, revelando o caráter patriarcal deste pensamento, que vai de encontro com as ideias feministas no que tange a construção social do gênero sem que seja levado em consideração única e exclusivamente o caráter físico e biológico. A pesquisa, quanto à natureza, foi do tipo bibliográfica, com uso de livros, artigos publicados em revistas científicas e jornais eletrônicos. Concluiu-se que, mesmo iniciando de forma sutil, ordinariamente direcionado à atividade meio nas instituições militares, a inserção da mulher vem ganhando espaço a cada dia, inclusive e de forma especial nos últimos dois anos, com o ingresso feminino na academia de formação voltada para a área de combate propriamente dita. Contudo, há de se considerar que há limites e desafios dentro de uma instituição historicamente orientada por valores do patriarcado

Abstract:
This chapter aims to reflect on female inclusion in the Armed Forces, bringing a discussion from a gender perspective. Dating back to the 1980s, the entry of women into the military ranks started a paradigm shift that not all activities developed by men could likewise be performed by women, revealing the patriarchal character of this thought, which goes against with feminist ideas regarding the social construction of gender without taking into account solely and exclusively the physical and biological character. The nature of the research was bibliographic, with the use of books, articles published in scientific magazines and electronic journals. It was concluded that, even if starting in a subtle way, ordinarily directed to the middle activity in military institutions, the insertion of women has been gaining space every day, including and in a special way in the last two years, with the female entrance in the training academy focused to the combat area itself. However, it must be considered that there are limits and challenges within an institution historically oriented by patriarchy values.
