MULHERES E PANDEMIA: O AUMENTO DAS DESIGUALDADES DE GÊNERO
A descoberta do coronavírus (COVID-19) não só estremeceu diversos setores da sociedade, mas também evidenciou as desigualdades de gênero. Se muito antes da chegada da COVID-19 as mulheres já eram responsáveis pela maior parte do trabalho doméstico e pelo cuidado dos membros mais vulneráveis da família, em tempos de isolamento social e escolas fechadas, essa carga se intensificou. Diante desse cenário, este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre ampliação das desigualdades de gênero na vida das mulheres em tempos de pandemia. Através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, no primeiro momento será explanado sobre o conceito de gênero e a influência teórica do marxismo nos debates sobre as relações de gênero, bem como destacada a importância da problematização desse conceito para o (a) assistente social. Em seguida, será abordada como a desigualdade de gênero influencia na produção acadêmica das mulheres, bem como o fenômeno social chamado de feminilização (feminização). Os resultados apontam que nesse contexto pandêmico torna-se fundamental atentar para a necessidade de se pautar na teoria marxista as questões de gênero e o fenômeno da feminização para abolir as desigualdades, mantendo o compromisso político profissional, em uma perspectiva crítica e de totalidade, para lutar contra a subalternidade, opressão e superexploração sofridas pelas mulheres e abraçar um projeto societário em busca da plena emancipação humana. Trata-se de uma leitura que visa contribuir com o aprimoramento do processo formativo no âmbito do Serviço Social em tempos de pandemia.

Abstract:
The discovery of the coronavirus (COVID-19) not only shook various sectors of society, but also highlighted gender inequalities. If long before the arrival of COVID-19, women were already responsible for most of the domestic work and the care of the most vulnerable members of the family, in times of social isolation and closed schools, this burden has intensified. Given this scenario, this article aims to reflect on the expansion of gender inequalities in women's lives in times of a pandemic. Through a bibliographical research, at first, the concept of gender and the theoretical influence of Marxism in debates on gender relations will be explained, as well as the importance of problematizing this concept for the social worker. Then, it will be discussed how gender inequality influences the academic production of women, as well as the social phenomenon called feminization (feminization). The results indicate that in this pandemic context, it is essential to pay attention to the need to base gender issues and the phenomenon of feminization in Marxist theory to abolish inequalities, maintaining professional political commitment, in a critical and totality perspective, to fight against subordination, oppression and overexploitation suffered by women and embrace a societal project in search of full human emancipation. It is a reading that aims to contribute to the improvement of the training process within the scope of Social Service in times of a pandemic.
