MULHERES COMPOSITORAS: CANÇÕES DA BELLE ÉPOQUE À PRIMEIRA METADE DO SÉCULO XX NO PARÁ.
Este trabalho está voltado à pesquisa de fontes documentais primárias e secundárias sobre mulheres compositoras no Pará, recuperando suas identidades, práticas e produções artísticas. A pesquisa sobre mulheres compositoras resultou na elaboração do “Cancioneiro Feminino do Pará”, projeto de pesquisa institucional vinculado à Escola de Música da Universidade Federal do Pará. O cancioneiro constitui-se no trabalho inaugural para a criação do intitulado “Acervo MUSA-Mulheres na Música da Amazônia”, voltado à editoração, revisão crítica, registro fonográfico e difusão de canções manuscritas de autoria feminina no Pará até a metade do século XX, nunca antes editadas. O percurso metodológico adotado divide-se em quatro etapas: a primeira refere-se à pesquisa documental, a segunda à pesquisa bibliográfica, a terceira consiste na descrição e estudo musical do material coletado, e por fim, a quarta etapa que consiste na discussão e divulgação de resultados. Em se considerando todo o contexto documental pesquisado, levantou-se o quantitativo de 59 canções manuscritas e editadas, de 16 autoras nascidas até 1920, que nasceram ou viveram em Belém do Pará. As canções reunidas neste primeiro cancioneiro estão em fase de editoração, revisão musical e gravação. Portanto, este patrimônio cultural possibilita a compreensão sociocultural da região e os resultados preliminares apontam para a compreensão dessas produções de autoria feminina a partir das práticas de consumo de bens culturais, das relações sociais e estruturas institucionais da época.

Abstract:
This work aims to research primary and secondary documentary sources about women composers in Pará, by recovering their identities, practices and artistic productions. This research about women composers resulted in the elaboration of the “Women’ songbook of Pará”which is a current institutional research project associated with the School of Music of the Federal University of Pará. This songbook constitutes the inaugural work for the creation of the “MUSA-Women in the Amazon Music Collection”, which is aimed at editing, critical review, phonographic recording and dissemination of handwritten songs by female authors in Pará until the middle of the 20th century, never before edited. The methodological path adopted for the construction of the “Women’ songbook of Pará” is divided into four steps: the first refers to documentary research, the second consists of bibliographical research, the third consists in the description and musical study of the collected material, and finally, the fourth stage, which consists of the discussion and dissemination of results. Considering the entire researched documental context, the quantitative of 59 handwritten and edited songs, from 16 authors born until 1920, who were born or lived in Belém do Pará were collected. The songs gathered in this first songbook are in the editing, music review and recording phase. Therefore, this cultural heritage enables the sociocultural understanding of the Amazon region and the preliminary results point to the understanding of these women” musical compositions from the practices of consumption of cultural goods, social relations and institutional structures at that time.
