Mulheres Agricultoras Contemporâneas: Uma Questão de Gênero
O presente artigo aborda o tema
desigualdade de gênero, no intuito de realizar
uma reflexão a respeito da evolução da mulher
na conquista dos seus direitos e do que ainda
precisa ser conquistado para garantir, finalmente,
a igualdade entre homens e mulheres. Em
relação à mulher agricultora, percebeu-se que
o preconceito ainda se encontra acentuado,
isso porque o trabalho feminino na agricultura
é considerado leve e de segunda mão. Assim,
nesta pesquisa, foi necessário observar em que
nível se encontra a desigualdade de gênero
entre as mulheres agricultoras, e como elas
encaram esse preconceito, a visão dessas
mulheres acerca da mulher contemporânea e
os diversos papéis que são desempenhados
por elas atualmente. Os sujeitos da pesquisa
foram mulheres agricultoras, casadas ou viúvas,
residentes em um município de pequeno porte,
situado na região meio-oeste catarinense.
Para a coleta de dados, optou-se por uma
entrevista semiestruturada, contendo quatro
perguntas norteadoras. O local da entrevista foi
a própria residência dos sujeitos. A análise foi
feita a partir das falas dos sujeitos da pesquisa,
correlacionada à literatura específica. Como
resultado, percebeu-se que as entrevistadas
reconhecem uma evolução da mulher diante
do homem, porém, ainda existe um preconceito
em relação à mulher agricultora, do qual,
diversas vezes, as próprias mulheres são
reprodutoras. Elas percebem que trabalham
mais que o homem, porém não deixam de se
submeter a realizar trabalhos domésticos e ser
responsáveis pela educação dos filhos.

Abstract:
This article deals with the theme
of inequality of gender, in order to undertake a
reflection about the evolution of women in the
achievement of their rights, and what still needs
to be achieved to finally guarantee the equality
between men and women. In relation to the
farmer women, it was noticed that the prejudice
with this group is still intense, because the female
labor is considered light and second hand. Thus, is this research, it was necessary to
observe at what level the process of inequality of gender between farmer women is,
and how they face this prejudice; these women’s view about the contemporary women,
and the several kinds of roles which are played by farmer women nowadays. The
subjects of the research were farmer women, married or widows, living in a small-sized
city in the Midwest region of Santa Catarina. For a data collection, it was opted by a
semi structured interview, holding four guiding questions. The place where the interview
took place was in the subjects’ own houses. The analysis was done from the speeches
of the subjects and correlated with the specific literature. As a result, it was noticed that
the interviews recognize an evolution of women before men, however, there is still a
prejudice in relation to the farmer women, where several times, the women themselves
reproduce this prejudice. They notice that they work more than men, however, they don’t
stop submitting themselves to do housework and to be responsible by the children’s
education.
