MULHER NEGRA COMO TEMA DE PESQUISA: ÁREA DE HUMANIDADES NO BRASIL
A adoção do sistema de cotas
raciais nas universidades brasileiras tem
revelado, sobretudo, o crescimento do ingresso
das mulheres negras no ensino superior.
Paralelamente a este fenômeno, surgem novos
Grupos de Pesquisa que abordam a temática
racial nas mais diversas áreas do conhecimento.
Apesar dos diversos temas relacionados à
categoria gênero, a pesquisa específica sobre
a mulher negra no Brasil não constituía assunto
comum nas universidades. O objetivo do
presente estudo é identificar como os Grupos
de Pesquisa da área de Ciências Humanas
nas universidades brasileira integram o tema
mulher negra. Adotou-se método de caráter
qualitativo, com levantamento dos Grupos
cadastrados no Diretório da Plataforma Lattes.
Procedeu-se, também, à identificação de
documentos nacionais sobre o tema quanto aos
dados demográficos e de natureza social.

Abstract:
The adoption of the system of
racial quotas in Brazilian universities has
revealed, above all, the growth of the entry of
black women into higher education. Parallel
to this phenomenon, new research groups
that approach the racial theme appear in the
most diverse areas of knowledge. Despite the
various themes related to gender category,
specific research about black women in Brazil
was not a common subject in universities. The
objective of the present study is to identify how
the Research Groups of the Human Sciences
area in the Brazilian universities integrate the
black woman theme. A qualitative method was
adopted, with a survey of the groups registered
in the Directory of the Lattes Platform. National
documents about the subject were also identified
for demographic and social data.
