Mudanças na cobertura do solo no município de Paragominas-PA dos anos de 1990 a 2020.
Trata-se de um estudo realizado na região sudeste paraense, no município de Paragominas, sendo este elaborado por uma abordagem quantiqualitativo com objetivo de demonstrar as mudanças na cobertura do solo, utilizando dados de uso, cobertura de solo e imagens de satélite do projeto Mapbiomas, referentes aos anos 1990 a 2020, gerando assim um mosaico Landsat anual de períodos específicos, podendo ser observados vegetação nativa, agricultura e água. Foram identificadas 11 classes no ano de 1990, sendo respectivamente sua maioria formação florestal (78,31%) e pastagem (20,26%), totalizando 98,57% da área de Paragominas, havendo menos de 1% as classes restantes. No ano de 2020 houve predominância das classes formação florestal, representado 68,19% da área e pastagem, com 21,41%, destaca-se o aparecimento da classe soja, ausente nas classes de 1990, sendo responsável por 5,33% da área total do município. Foi possível constatar notórias mudanças cerca do uso e cobertura do solo entre o período de1990 e 2020, havendo crescimento na produção de soja e lavouras temporárias e declínio significativo na área de formação florestal e lavoura perene.

Abstract:
This is a study carried out in the southeast region of Pará, in the municipality of Paragominas, which was prepared using a quantitative and qualitative approach with the objective of demonstrating changes in land cover, using land use data, land cover and satellite images from the Mapbiomas project , referring to the years 1990 to 2020, thus generating an annual Landsat mosaic of specific periods, where native vegetation, agriculture and water can be observed. Eleven classes were identified in 1990, the majority being forest formation (78.31%) and pasture (20.26%) respectively, totaling 98.57% of the area of Paragominas, with less than 1% of the remaining classes. In the year 2020 there was a predominance of the forest formation classes, representing 68.19% of the area and pasture, with 21.41%, the appearance of the soybean class stands out, absent in the 1990 classes, being responsible for 5.33% of the total area of the municipality. It was possible to observe notable changes in land use and cover between the period of 1990 and 2020, with growth in the production of soybeans and temporary crops and a significant decline in the area of forest formation and perennial crops.
