MUDANÇA DE VIDA DOS PACIENTES ESTOMIZADOS
INTRODUÇÃO: As estomias intestinais referem-se a uma abertura feita cirurgicamente no abdômen, onde se exterioriza parte do intestino, por meio de um orifício com a finalidade de suprir a função do órgão afetado, a sua realização consiste no desvio do conteúdo do intestino para uma bolsa externa. OBJETIVO: fazer uma revisão da literatura a cerca das mudanças que ocorrem nas vidas dos pacientes após uma estomia. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico, no qual foi realizado um levantamento da produção científica na base de dados LILAC, BDENF e MEDLINE, no período de 2013 a 2017, utilizou os descritores: qualidade de vida; estomia; social com esses descritores foram encontrados setenta e quatro artigos, utilizando como critério de inclusão: textos completos, temática, texto em português e ano de publicação, restando seis artigos, dos quais foram analisados conforme período de publicação, cenário da pesquisa, metodologia aplicada e unidade de federação. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: Com o resultado, observou-se que em 2013 e 2015 ocorreu o maior número de publicações, quanto ao cenário prevaleceu o ambiente domiciliar, a abordagem metodológica foi a do tipo quantitativa,. Sendo as temáticas agrupadas em duas áreas: Mudanças comportamentais sofridas pelos pacientes estomizados: A realização desse procedimento acarreta uma série de mudanças na vida do paciente tais como: necessidade de realização do autocuidado com a estomia, adequação alimentar, mudança no modo de vestir etc. A outra área: impactos psicológicos em pacientes pós estomizados: o estoma intestinal não altera somente o sistema biológico, mas também afeta emocional e fisicamente o indivíduo, prejudicando sua relação social, gera sentimento de inferioridade, indiferença e exclusão em relação aos outros membros da comunidade. CONCLUSÃO: as mudanças ocasionadas pós estomatização é um processo individual, doloroso e que esta diretamente ligada a sentimentos de vergonha, medo, ansiedade, baixa autoestima e sofrimento, refletindo no isolamento social.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Intestinal stomies refer to an opening made surgically in the abdomen, where part of the intestine is exteriorized through an orifice with the purpose of supplying the function of the affected organ, its realization consists of the deviation of the intestine content to an external pouch. OBJECTIVE: to review the literature about the changes that occur in the lives of patients after a stoma. METHODS: This is a bibliographic study in which a survey of scientific production in the LILAC, BDENF and MEDLINE database was carried out, from 2013 to 2017, using the descriptors: quality of life; stoma; social with these descriptors seventy-four articles were found, using as inclusion criteria: full text, thematic, text in Portuguese and year of publication, leaving six articles, of which were analyzed according to the period of publication, research scenario, applied methodology and federation unit. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: With the result, it was observed that in 2013 and 2015 the largest number of publications occurred, regarding the scenario the home environment prevailed, the methodological approach was the quantitative type. The themes were grouped into two areas: Behavioral changes suffered by patients with stoma: The performance of this procedure entails a series of changes in the patient's life, such as: need for self-care with the stomach, food adequacy, change in the way of dressing, etc. The other area: psychological impacts on post-stomized patients: the intestinal stoma not only alters the biological system, but also affects the individual emotionally and physically, damaging their social relationship, generates a feeling of inferiority, indifference and exclusion from other community members. CONCLUSION: the changes caused after stomatization is an individual process, painful and directly linked to feelings of shame, fear, anxiety, low self-esteem and suffering, reflecting in social isolation.
