MUDANÇA DE CULTURA ORGANIZACIONAL NO PROCESSO DE MEDICAÇÃO SEGURA EM UMA ENFERMARIA PEDIÁTRICA: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
RESUMO: O relato tem como objetivo descrever a experiência das estratégias de melhorias implementadas para a mudança de cultura organizacional no processo de medicação segura, a fim de disseminar a segurança do paciente na enfermaria pediátrica de um hospital no município do Rio de Janeiro. Trata-se de um relato de experiência com abordagem do Ciclo PDCA (planejamento, execução, verificação e ação). Diante da possibilidade de prevenção dos erros de medicação e do risco de dano em função da sua ocorrência, torna-se relevante identificar a natureza e determinantes dos erros, como forma de dirigir ações para a prevenção.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: The objective of the report is to describe the experience of the improvement strategies implemented to change organizational culture in the safe medication process in order to disseminate patient safety in the pediatric ward of a hospital in the city of Rio de Janeiro. This is an experience report with a PDCA Cycle approach (planning, execution, verification and action). Given the possibility of prevention of medication errors and risk of harm due to its occurrence, it is relevant to identify the nature and determinants of errors, as a way to direct actions for prevention.
