MOVIMENTO NEGRO NO RIO GRANDE DO SUL: APONTAMENTOS PARA UMA HISTÓRIA DAS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS NO ESTADO
O principal objetivo do artigo é,
a partir do campo de pesquisas das relações
étnico-raciais, apresentar uma revisão do
que foi produzido nos Programas de Pós-
Graduação em História do Rio Grande do Sul. A
pesquisa foi conduzida por duas questões que
levantamos ao longo do texto, que resultaram
em alguns apontamentos de avanços e limites
da historiografia que se deteve na população
negra, também colaborando para a definição
de contornos daquilo que entendemos como a
história do Movimento Negro no estado.

Abstract:
The main objective of the article
is, from the field of research of ethnic-racial
relations, to present a review of what was
produced in the Graduate Programs in History
of Rio Grande do Sul. The research was
conducted by two questions that we raised to
the which resulted in some notes of advances
and limits of historiography that stopped in the
black population, also collaborating to define
contours of what we understand as the history
of the Black Movement in the state.
