MORHAN PERNAMBUCO: AÇÕES EM PROL DO COMBATE À HANSENÍASE EM RECIFE E REGIÃO METROPOLITANA NOS ANOS DE 2016, 2017 e 2018
A hanseníase vem sendo alvo de ações em prol da busca pela erradicação
da mesmo e luta pela garantia de direitos
dos usuários. O MORHAN – Movimento de
Reintegração das Pessoas Atingidas pela
Hanseníase vem realizando essas atividades
juntamente com parceiros. Neste estudo
foram realizados levantamento de atividades
realizadas entre os anos de 2016, 2017 e 2018.
Foram realizadas: visitas a serviços de saúde,
atividades de educação em saúde, busca ativa
de casos de hanseníase, oficinas de direitos e
deveres para usuários, participação em eventos
científicos e visitas à pacientes e ex-pacientes
de hanseníase. Sendo assim na realização
de ações em prol da hanseníase o MORHAN
busca esclarecer sobre a doença e minimizar
o preconceito e estigma ainda presentes na
patologia

Abstract:
The leprosy has been the target of
actions in favor of the search for the eradication
of the same and fight for the guarantee of the
rights of the users. MORHAN - Reintegration
Movement for People Affected by Leprosy has
been carrying out these activities together with
partners. In this study, a survey was carried
out of activities carried out between 2016,
2017 and 2018. The following were carried
out: visits to health services, health education activities, active search for cases of leprosy, workshops on rights and duties for users,
participation in scientific events and visits to patients and former leprosy patients.
Therefore, MORHAN seeks to clarify the disease and minimize the prejudice and
stigma still present in the pathology in the performance of actions in favor of leprosy
