MONITORAMENTO DE AVES ATRAVÉS DE REGISTRO FOTOGRÁFICO NO CRIADOURO CONSERVACIONISTA DA UNIVERSIDADE DO VALE DO PARAÍBA
Animais silvestres provenientes de apreensões de órgãos públicos em
sua maioria são aves, e em geral podem ser destinados a reintrodução em seu
ambiente natural. O monitoramento após a reintrodução desses animais é
relevante para a avaliação da eficiência da adaptação dos exemplares, da
metodologia de reabilitação e do sucesso pós soltura. O presente trabalho
objetivou o monitoramento durante seis meses das aves que visitavam o Criadouro
Conservacionista da Univap para alimentação, descanso e abrigo. Nesse período,
conseguiu-se registrar 548 aves, das quais as mais frequentes foram Sicalis
flaveola, com 244 registros e Psittacara leucophthalmus, com 64 registros.

Abstract:
Wild animals coming from seizures of public bodies are mostly birds,
and in general can be destined for reintroduction into their natural environment.
The monitoring after the reintroduction of these animals is relevant for the
evaluation of the efficiency of the adaptation of the specimens, the rehabilitation
methodology and the success after release. The present work aimed at the
monitoring for six months of the birds that visited the Univap Conservation Station
for food, rest and shelter. During this period, 548 birds were recorded, of which the
most frequent were Sicalis flaveola, with 244 records and Psittacara
leucophthalmus, with 64 records.
