Abstract: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease mediated by exacerbated immune responses, particularly Th2 cells. Therapeutic advances include biologics such as dupilumab and tralokinumab, which target specific inflammatory pathways, improving clinical outcomes. Skin microbiota modulation and early emollient use emerge as promising preventive strategies. Comparison of systemic therapies, such as cyclosporine and methotrexate, highlights the need for personalized treatment. Research continues to advance in the search for more effective and safer therapies for managing AD.
