Mobilização Neural em Pacientes com Lombociatalgia
Introdução: A Coluna vertebral é
composta em sua estrutura anatômica pelos
ossos das vertebras e seus discos vertebrais e
intervertebrais, músculos e fáscias interligados
da coluna e quadril, ligamentos, articulações,
vasos raízes nervosas, gânglios e nervos.
Diversas doenças podem afetar a coluna
vertebral dentre elas a lombalgia e a ciatalgia
ou até mesmo a lombociatalgia. A Lombalgia é
uma doença que causa dores na região lombar
e pode ser causada por fatores inflamatórios
e infecciosos, pacientes com essa patologia
apresentam má postura e traumas que causam
dores na coluna vertebral que podem passar
pelo quadril e atingir a região posterior da
perna até o joelho e chegar ao tornozelo. A
mobilização neural pode ser conceituada como
um conjunto de técnicas que tem como objetivo
impor ao sistema nervoso maior tensão,
mediante determinadas posturas para que, em
seguida, sejam aplicados movimentos lentos
e rítmicos direcionados aos nervos periféricos
e à medula espinhal, proporcionando melhora
na condutibilidade do impulso nervoso. Por se
tratar de uma terapia manual, a mobilização
neural se torna um dos recursos disponíveis
e de responsabilidade do fisioterapeuta, que
é parte integrante e indispensável da equipe
multidisciplinar, responsável pela reabilitação
do paciente portador da lombociatalgia e/ou
lombalgia. Objetivo: investigar os efeitos da
mobilização neural na modulação da dor em
pacientes com lombociatalgia. Metodologia:
Trata-se de um estudo de revisão bibliográfica
a respeito da utilização da mobilização neural
no tratamento da lombociatalgia. Foram
pesquisados artigos nas bases de dados
SciELO, PeDro, Pubmed, Bireme, Lilacs,
Medline, afim de classifica-los seguindo os
critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Resultados:
Foram identificados 78 artigos listadas no banco
de dados das citadas fontes, após aplicação
dos critérios de exclusão foram retirados 74
artigos por fugirem ao tema, serem artigos de
revisão, artigos duplicados, sendo incluídos
apenas 04 artigos para realização da tabela por
satisfação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão.
Considerações Finais: A mobilização neural
uma técnica capaz de reduzir o quadro
álgico, melhora a capacidade funcional e aumenta a flexibilidade em pacientes com
lombociatalgia.

Abstract:
Introduction: The vertebral column is composed in its anatomical
structure by the bones of the vertebrae and their vertebral and intervertebral discs,
interconnected muscles and fascias of the spine and hip, ligaments, joints, nerve root
vessels, ganglia and nerves. A number of diseases can affect the spine, including
low back pain and sciatica, or even low back pain. Low back pain is a disease that
causes pain in the lower back and can be caused by inflammatory and infectious
factors, patients with this pathology have bad posture and traumas that cause pain in
the spine that can pass through the hip and reach the posterior region of the leg until
the knee and reach the ankle. Neural mobilization can be conceptualized as a set
of techniques that aims to impose greater tension on the nervous system by means
of certain postures so that slow and rhythmic movements directed to the peripheral
nerves and spinal cord are applied, providing an improvement in conductivity of the
nerve impulse. Because it is a manual therapy, neural mobilization becomes one of the
available resources and is the responsibility of the physiotherapist, who is an integral
and indispensable part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the rehabilitation
of the patient with lumbosacatalgia and / or low back pain. Objective: to investigate
the effects of neural mobilization on pain modulation in patients with lumbosciatalgia.
Methodology: This is a literature review about the use of neural mobilization in the
treatment of lumbosacatalgia. We searched articles in the databases SciELO, PeDro,
Pubmed, Bireme, Lilacs, Medline, in order to classify them according to the inclusion
and exclusion criteria. Results: We identified 78 articles listed in the database of the
mentioned sources, after applying the exclusion criteria, 74 articles were withdrawn
because they went beyond the topic, were articles of revision, duplicate articles, being
included only 04 articles for accomplishment of the table by satisfaction of the inclusion
and exclusion criteria. Conclusions: Neural mobilization is a technique capable of
reducing pain threshold, improves functional capacity and increases flexibility in
patients with lumbar stroke.
