MOBILIDADE ESPACIAL E OPORTUNIDADES EDUCACIONAIS: ANALISANDO A PENDULARIDADE DOS ESTUDANTES NO NORTE FLUMINENSE
O padrão espacial da localização
das universidades, de forma concentrada em
determinados espaços, leva à necessidade de
deslocamentos frequentes entre os estudantes.
O objetivo geral do trabalho é analisar os
movimentos populacionais pendulares por
motivo de estudo de nível superior na região
Norte Fluminense, principalmente em direção
ao município de Campos dos Goytacazes,
historicamente reconhecido como polo de
educação superior na região. Para investigar a
questão será utilizada abordagem quantitativa,
utilizando o Censo do IBGE (2010) e do Censo
do Ensino Superior do INEP como fontes de
dados secundários. Entre os resultados foi
observado que o município exerce papel de
centro regional, atraindo estudantes de várias
partes do estado e, inclusive de outros estados
do Brasil.

Abstract:
The spatial pattern of the location
of universities, concentrating on space values,
of a need for frequent trips among students.
The general objective of this work is to
analyze the commuting population movements
due to the study of higher education in the
Northern Fluminense region, mainly towards
the municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes,
historically recognized as a pole of higher
education in the region. In order to research the
question, it must be approached quantitatively,
using the IBGE Census (2010) and the INEP
Higher Education Census as secondary data
sources. Among the results to observed that the
municipality plays the role of regional center,
attracting students from various parts of the
state, including other states in Brazil.
