MITOLOGEMAS E INCLUSÃO SOCIAL DA PESSOA COM DEFICIÊNCIA FRENTE ÀS BARREIRAS HISTÓRICO-CULTURAIS
O presente artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a proposta de inclusão da pessoa com deficiência, utilizando como referência os aspectos perceptivos que o público, de modo geral, possui sobre os mitos que estão inscritos nas bases culturais e históricas. Sabe-se que ao se abordar a questão da inclusão de pessoas com deficiência a maior barreira a se transpor é a atitudinal, construída nos valores transmitidos na cultura das diferentes comunidades. Utilizando o contexto contemporâneo e as conquistas oriundas de anos de luta e reivindicação dos movimentos organizados das pessoas com deficiência, é possível, discutir temas que se perpetuam na contramão da inclusão além da implementação de tecnologias e equipamentos que têm como finalidade promover a inclusão da PCD. Apesar dos mitos sobre a pessoa com deficiência classificarem-se em crenças e contos, possuem força e permanecem vivos e atuantes no imaginário popular. Mesmo que o público leigo não possa identificá-los precisamente, isso não impede que a herança cultural forneça uma visão ou resposta estereotipada e preconceituosa que dificulta a mudança de paradigmas relacionados a capacidade, autonomia e sexualidade das pessoas com deficiência.

Abstract:
This article proposes a reflection on the proposal for inclusion of people with disabilities, using as reference the perceptive aspects that the public, in general, has about the myths that are inscribed in the cultural and historical bases. It is known that when addressing the issue of inclusion of people with disabilities the biggest barrier to overcome is the attitudinal, built on the values transmitted in the culture of different communities. Using the contemporary context and the achievements arising from years of struggle and claim of organized movements of people with disabilities, it is possible to discuss issues that perpetuate against inclusion beyond the implementation of technologies and equipment that aim to promote the inclusion of PCD. Although myths about people with disabilities are classified into beliefs and tales, they have strength and remain alive and active in the popular imagination. Even if the lay public cannot identify them precisely, this does not prevent cultural heritage from providing a stereotypical and prejudiced view or response that makes it difficult to change paradigms related to the capacity, autonomy and sexuality of people with disabilities.
