MITO E DESENVOLVIMENTO PSICOLÓGICO: A SAGA DO HERÓI NO PROCESSO DE INDIVIDUAÇÃO
Este artigo tem por objetivo
investigar a relação entre a mitologia e
o desenvolvimento psicológico humano,
através de uma leitura junguiana. Para tal
empreitada, utilizou-se do mito da saga do
herói como base para ilustração do processo
de individuação. Esta pesquisa tem como
método, o recurso bibliográfico exploratório,
de caráter qualitativo. Será apresentada uma
sucinta compreensão de algumas perspectivas,
acerca da interpretação dos mitos, destacandose
a significação psicológica, no ponto de vista
da psicologia analítica. Para o entendimento
neste âmbito, discorrer-se-á sobre alguns
conceitos fundamentais que demonstram estar
profundamente emaranhados com os mitos,
com sua perpetuação e compreensão. São
estes conceitos: psique humana, o inconsciente
coletivo, o inconsciente pessoal, consciente,
complexos e arquétipos. Em seguida, será
exposta a analogia do mito da saga do
herói com o processo de autodescoberta e
maturação psicológica. Constatando-se que
as fases que compõem a jornada do herói
possuem correspondência simbólica com
as fases de transição da personalidade. Os
mitos, através de sua rica simbologia atuam
no psiquismo humano, ativando nos recônditos
do inconsciente uma força potencializadora
do processo de transformação e integração
dohomem.

Abstract:
This article has for objective
to investigate the relationship between the
mythology and the psychic development of
the human being´s personality, in junguian
psychology. For such task, it was used the myth
of the heros´s saga as a base for the showing
the individualization process. This research
has as a method, the exploratory bibliographic
resource, as qualitative character. Will be
presented a short historical vision, of some
perspectives, concerning the understending
and interpretation of myths. being distinguished
the psychological means, in the point of view
of analytical psychology. For the agreement in
the psychological scope, it will be discoursed
on some basic concepts that demonstrate
to be deeply become entangled with myths,
with its perpetuation and understanding. They
are these concepts: human psich, collective unconscious, the self unconscious,
conscientious, complexes and archetypes. After that, the analogy of the hero´s saga
myth, with the self discovery process and psychic development, will be displayed. It will
be evidenced that the phases that compose the journey of the hero possess symbolic
correspondence with the phases of transistion of the personality. The myths, through
itsrichsymbologyactinthehumanpsiquism,activating,inthereconditeof unconscious, a
potencial force of the transformation and human being`s integration process.
