MILTON HATOUM: UMA PRÁTICA LITERÁRIA ENGAJADA NA EDUCAÇÃO EM DEFESA DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS NA AMAZÔNIA
É notória a necessidade da educação para a defesa dos Direitos Humanos em regiões mais distantes dos grandes centros, espaços estes que, ao contrário daqueles, são repletos de organismos estatais que favorecem o cumprimento de normas legais que protegem a pessoa, a despeito da grande violência que grassa nas periferias sociais urbanas, na atualidade. Considerando que a região amazônica possui um elevado atrativo em função das riquezas, reais ou imaginárias, em termos de minérios, especialmente, parece natural que se torne objeto de preocupação maior a questão dos Direitos Humanos na Amazônia. Precisamente aqui que são catalisados elementos importantes, da Educação e da Literatura, que são decisivos para apoiar essa região, distante e atacada com maior veemência e ambição do que territorialidades mais defendidas pela presença de organismos de controle. Paulo Freire e Milton Hatoum podem favorecer o emprego pelo professorado de uma prática literária engajada na educação em defesa dos Direitos Humanos na Amazônia. Empregando metodologia político-cultural, em projeto de iniciação científica levado a cabo em Universidade do Norte do Brasil (2020-2021), procuramos perceber momentos de análise da situação fática, histórica e atualizada, promovendo assim um ensino em que a educação pela paz, a libertação de oprimidos pela pressão econômica (e hoje por políticas governamentais) que podem ser desfavoráveis aos povos da floresta, em função da exploração dos recursos naturais ainda em muito preservados por grandes porções de terras protegidas.

Abstract:
There is a clear need for education for the defense of human rights in regions that are farther from the big centers, spaces that, unlike those, are full of state bodies that favor compliance with legal rules that protect the person, despite the great violence that rages in the urban social peripheries, nowadays. Considering that the Amazon region has a high attraction due to the richness, real or imagined, in terms of ores, especially, it seems natural that the issue of Human Rights in the Amazon becomes an object of greater concern. It is precisely here that important elements of Education and Literature are catalyzed, which are decisive in supporting this region, distant and attacked with greater vehemence and ambition than territorialities more defended by the presence of control bodies. Paulo Freire and Milton Hatoum can favor the teaching profession of a literary practice engaged in education in defense of Human Rights in the Amazon. Employing political-cultural methodology, in a scientific initiation project carried out at the University of the North of Brazil (2020-2021), we seek to understand moments of analysis of the factual, historical and updated situation, thus promoting a teaching in which education for peace, the liberation of the oppressed by economic pressure (and today by government policies) that may be unfavorable to the peoples of the forest, due to the exploitation of natural resources still largely preserved by large portions of protected land.
