MÉTODOS SUPLEMENTARES PARA OTIMIZAÇÃO DA DESINFECÇÃO DURANTE O TRATAMENTO ENDODÔNTICO
A eliminação das bactérias do sistema de canais radiculares é crucial para a obtenção de sucesso no tratamento endodôntico. Nesse contexto, o objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar através de uma revisão de literatura métodos suplementares para otimização da desinfecção durante o tratamento dos canais radiculares. Para tal foi realizada uma busca nas plataformas digitais Pubmed, e Google Acadêmico, através das seguintes palavras chaves: Tratamento Endodôntico”; “Otimização”; “Limpeza Radicular” e “Desinfecção”, e suas respectivas traduções em inglês: “Endodontic treatment” “Optimization” “Root Cleaning” e “Disinfection”. A partir da literatura analisada pode-se concluir que nenhum método promove total limpeza do canal radicular, embora todos promovam redução de microrganismos favorecendo o sucesso da terapia endodôntica.

Abstract:
The elimination of bacteria from the root canal system is crucial for successful endodontic treatment. In this context, the objective of this study was analyzed through a literature review supplementary methods of optimizing disinfection during the treatment of root canals. To this end, a search was carried out on the digital platforms Pubmed and Google Acadêmico, using the following keywords: Endodontic Treatment”; "Optimization"; "Radicular Cleaning" and "Disinfection", and their latest English translations: "Endodontic treatment" "Optimization" "Root Cleaning" and "Disinfection". From the analyzed literature, it can be realized that no method promotes total cleaning of the root canal, although all promote reduction of microorganisms favoring the success of endodontic therapy.
