MEMÓRIAS DOS ADULTOS DA COMUNIDADE QUILOMBOLA SAGRADO CORAÇÃO DE JESUS RIO GENIPAÚBA ABAETETUBA PARÁ: MOTIVOS QUE CULMINARAM PARA INTERRUPÇÃO DOS ESTUDOS NO PASSADO E PERSPECTIVAS DE RETORNO NO PRESENTE
O presente estudo, objetivou
pesquisar os motivos que culminaram para
que os adultos residentes na comunidade
Sagrado Coração de Jesus, Abaetetuba -PA
interrompessem os estudos no passado,
levando em consideração os fatores que
culminaram para tal, além de compreender seus
anseios por retorno dos estudos na atualidade,
retorno esse que tem como objetivo primordial
a conclusão o ensino médio, alguns até com
sonhos de ingressarem na educação superior
visto que a comunidade é remanescente de
quilombos e todos os anos a UFPA destina
um processo seletivo especial para esse
público. A metodologia utilizada para esse
estudo foi a pesquisa qualitativa, pois buscou
o aprofundamento e a compreensão de um
grupo social, de uma organização, ou seja, os
quilombolas entrevistados e esta buscou fazer
alguns questionamentos: o tipo da escola da
época, o que eles entendem por educação
do campo, a relação entre conhecimentos
tradicionais e científicos. Vale ressaltar que
utilizamos um questionário para obter as
informações e a memória dos mesmos foi o
fator primordial para entender suas dinâmicas
de vida. As entrevistas foram realizadas com 20
adultos da comunidade, com faixa etária entre
44 e 69 anos. O trabalho nos proporcionou
conhecer os empecilhos que culminaram a
desistência dos estudos e os motivos que
estão fazendo os mesmos retornarem à sala de
aula, e entender as realidades educacionais da
comunidade.

Abstract:
The present study aimed to
investigate the reasons that led the adults
residing in the Sacred Heart of Jesus community,
Abaetetuba-Pa, to interrupt their studies in the past, taking into account the factors that
culminated in this, in addition to understanding their yearnings for return of studies
in the present time, a return that has as main objective the conclusion of secondary
education, some even with dreams of entering higher education since the community is
remanent of quilombos and every year the UFPA destines a special selection process
for this public. The methodology used for this study was the qualitative research,
because it sought to deepen and understand a social group, an organization, that is,
the quilombolas interviewed and this one tried to ask some questions: the type of the
school of the time, what they by education of the field, the relation between traditional
and scientific knowledge. It is worth mentioning that we used a questionnaire to obtain
information and their memory was the primary factor to understand their life dynamics.
The interviews were conducted with 20 adults from the community, ranging in age from
44 to 69 years. The work provided us with knowledge about the obstacles that led to
the dropping out of the studies and the reasons that are making them return to the
classroom, and to understand the educational realities of the community.
