MEMÓRIA SOBRE A MOBILIZAÇÃO DA REDE SOCIAL NA COMUNIDADE DE TRÊS CARNEIR0S - PERIFERIA DO RECIFE
Em 1995 realizamos uma pesquisa
em algumas comunidades da periferia
do Recife, abordando a participação dos
moradores no acompanhamento de projeto de
melhorias urbanas. Passadas duas décadas
(2015), revisitamos as mesmas comunidades
periféricas, trazendo ao debate sua história a
partir do conceito de “Rede social” como um
instrumento de análise para as interações entre
indivíduos construídas no cotidiano (FONTES,
1998). Decidimos dar ênfase a comunidade
de Três Carneiros (uma das comunidades
pesquisadas em 1995), importante por seu
protagonismo desempenhado - uma vez que
a força de sua organização e articulação
ganhou destaque na imprensa nacional,
ao conseguirem expulsar do canteiro de
obras instalado nessa comunidade, uma
grande empreiteira contratada para obras de
infraestrutura urbana (na ocasião, a empresa
desconsiderou os argumentos da comunidade
que questionavam a qualidade técnica das
obras em execução). Nesse sentido, pudemos
levantar novas reflexões sobre os movimentos
comunitários a partir da reconstituição da
memória das mobilizações, organização,
estratégias e articulações com foco nas
redes sociais que vem se estabelecendo na
comunidade mencionada.

Abstract:
In 1995, we conducted research
in some communities in the outskirts of Recife,
addressing the participation of residents in the
follow-up of urban improvements project. After
two decades (2015), we revisited the same
peripheral communities, bringing to the debate
its history from the concept of “Social network”
as an instrument of analysis for the interactions
between individuals built in the daily life. We
decided to emphasize the community of Três
Carneiros (one of the communities surveyed
in 1995), important for its role played - once
the strength of its organization and articulation
gained prominence in the national press, when
they managed to expel from the construction site
installed in that community, A large contractor
contracted for urban infrastructure works (at the
time, the company disregarded the community’s
arguments that questioned the technical quality
of the works being carried out). In this sense, we were able to raise new reflections about
the community movements from the reconstitution of the memory of the mobilizations,
organization, strategies and articulations with focus on the social networks that are
being established in the mentioned community.
