MEMÓRIA, SILÊNCIO, ESQUECIMENTO E TURISMO
O artigo tem por objetivo demonstrar
possibilidades de interações entre as teorias da
Memória Social e do Turismo, especificamente
através da concepção de silêncio e esquecimento
adotada por Michael Pollak, que leva a reflexões
sobre as relações de poder, na medida em que
existe uma memória oficial do turismo que se
sobrepõe às memórias subterrâneas.

Abstract:
This paper aims to demonstrate
possibilities of interactions between the theories
of social memory and Tourism, specifically by
designing silence and oblivion adopted by
Michael Pollak , which leads to reflections on
relations of power, to the extent that there is
an official Tourism Memory that overlaps the
underground memories.
