MEMÓRIA, CULTURA E RESILIÊNCIA NA COMPREENSÃO DA PAISAGEM DO PAMPA: CONTRIBUIÇÃO PARA UMA GEOGRAFIA INTEGRADORA
Embora o conceito de paisagem
tenha se constituído historicamente como uma
das categorias centrais da análise geográfica, a
sua discussão pouco tem avançado para além da
geometria espacial produzida pela antropização
da natureza. Neste texto buscamos compreender
os processos metabólicos de produção deste
arranjo estrutural, situando sua gênese nos
mecanismos co-adaptativos que estruturam
as paisagens geo-bio-culturais ao longo do
tempo histórico, nos quais a memória, o afeto
e a identidade (ou sua ausência) representam
parte fundamental na transformação (ou na
resistência a ela) da paisagem.

Abstract:
Although the concept of landscape
has historically constituted one of the central
categories of geographic analysis, its discussion
has advanced very little beyond the spatial
geometry produced by the anthropization of
nature. In this paper we seek to understand
the metabolic processes of production of this
structural arrangement, situating its genesis
in the co-adaptive mechanisms that structure
the geo-bio-cultural landscapes throughout
historical time, in which memory, affection
and identity (or their absence ) represent a
fundamental part in the transformation (or
resistance to it) of the landscape.
