MEMÓRIA, APAGAMENTOS E RESISTÊNCIAS: COLETIVO APARECIDOS POLÍTICOS
O presente trabalho discute a relação entre memória e apagamento histórico/político do período ditatorial brasileiro entre 1964 a 1985. De forma a resgatar a memória dos desaparecidos políticos de forma factual são expostos os discursos das vítimas torturadas, presentes no livro Brasil: Nunca Mais, e para provocar a reflexão crítica é utilizada uma performance artística do Coletivo Aparecidos Políticos. É tratado, também, a importância da arte, em especial a arte contemporânea, para a quebra da cultura hegemônica. Este é um trabalho em aberto, que se justifica pela pretensão de aprofundar as discussões acerca da memória da ditadura, tema pouco difundido e visibilizado de forma factual pela ampla maioria.

Abstract:
This work discusses the relation between memory and the historical/political erasure that took place during the 1964-1985 Brazilian dictatorial regime. The memories of political disappearances were recovered through the book “Brasil: Nunca Mais”, a collection of testemonies from torture victims. It was used to elicit critical thinking an artistic perfomance from Coletivo Aparecidos Políticos. The importance of art, contemporary art in particular, as a way to break away from mainstream culture will be analysed. While this is a work in progress, it is an important step in opening further discussions about the historical legacy of the dictatorship that was silenced and ignored by many, or altered to fit a political narrative.
