MEMES E CONTRACULTURA: A RECONFIGURAÇÃO DE NARRATIVAS HEGEMÔNICAS NA SEMIOSFERA
Estudo sobre a produção e circulação de memes no âmbito da contracultura, enquanto produto de reconfiguração material e imaterial da memória da mídia. A pesquisa tem por objetivo situar os memes na semiosfera da cultura e analisar seu uso enquanto objeto de resistência política no Brasil, a partir da retomada de discursos historicamente hegemônicos, e sua relação com gêneros narrativos utilizados n’O Pasquim. Para tal, tomamos como referencial teórico o conceito de semiosfera, de Lótman, e a proposta de uma história não-linear desenvolvida por W. Benjamin. A metodologia parte de um levantamento de memes sobre a atual crise política no Brasil feita pelo jornal El País em sua plataforma online. Concluímos com esse trabalho que a produção de memes nasce materialmente de gêneros como a charge e resulta na propagação polissêmica dos discursos hegemônicos em circulação.

Abstract:
This paper stands about production and circulation of memes in scope of counterculture as a product of material and immaterial reconfiguration of the memory of media. The research aims to situate the memes on the semiosphere of culture and to analyze its use as object of political resistance in Brazil, starting from the resumption of historically hegemonic discourses, and its relation with narrative genres used in O Pasquim. For this, we take as theoretical reference the concept of semiosphere, of Lótman, and the proposal of a nonlinear history developed by W. Benjamin. The methodology starts from a collection of memes about the current political crisis in Brazil made by El País in its online platform. We conclude with this work that the production of memes arises materially from genres such as the charge and results in the polysemic propagation of circulating hegemonic discourses.
