Melopeia, a música da Tragédia Grega
Tendo em vista que as traduções
dos textos gregos, referentes à menção de
Aristóteles em Poética, definem melopeia por
música em sentido lato, a proposta desse artigo
é tentar compreender strictu sensu os matizes
deste conceito, identificando seus elementos e
sua funcionalidade na relação com a Tragédia
Grega. Para este fim, entre outros autores,
buscou-se base notadamente em Aristides
Quintilianus que, de forma sistemática, no
século II a.C., expõe o que seria a melopeia
como forma de composição ao mesmo tempo
que a classifica em gêneros subgêneros.

Abstract:
Since the translations of the Greek
texts referring to the mention of Aristotle in
Poetics define melopeia by music in the broad
sense, the proposal of this article is to understand
strictu sensu the nuances of this concept,
identifying its elements and its functionality in
the context of the Greek Tragedy. In order to
this understanding, among other authors, it was
mainly based on Aristides Quintilianus that in a
systematic way in the 2nd century BC clarifies
what would be melopeia as a compositional
form at the same time he classifies it in genres
and subgenres
