MELHORIA DO PROCESSO PRODUTIVO DE SELAGEM DE EMBALAGENS PRÉ-MOLDADAS EM PET: ESTUDO DE CASO DE UMA INOVAÇÃO DE PROCESSO EM UMA INDÚSTRIA DO SETOR DE MATERIAIS DE ESCRITÓRIO
A temática em torno da produção sustentável tem sido mundialmente discutida e operacionalizada em diversos circuitos empresariais. Esta preocupação se faz presente para garantir a disponibilidade de recursos para o ciclo de produção e abastecimento, para que inexistam desperdícios e para o cumprimento de legislações vigentes. Após uma alteração produtiva buscando tornar a sua produção mais sustentável uma indústria do setor de matérias de escritório começou a enfrentar problemas de eficiência produtiva na atividade de selagem de embalagens. Diante desse contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo desenvolver melhorias para esta atividade. Partindo da metodologia do DMAIC o estudo realizou uma série de procedimentos para diagnosticar o problema, analisa-lo e implementar uma solução. Como resultado, o grupo projetou uma alteração na tecnologia de selagem, uma segunda alteração na dimensão da matéria-prima e uma última mudança no layout da estação de trabalho. Com isto, houve aumento da eficiência produtiva, redução do desperdício, além de outros ganhos. Entende-se que ao otimizar o sistema produtivo, o trabalho foi capaz de gerar uma produção mais sustentável e competitiva.

Abstract:
The thematic surrounding sustainable production has been discussed worldwide and operationalized in the business atmosphere. This concern exists in order to ensure resources availability for the production and supply cycle, so that there is no waste and for the existing laws are complied with. After a productive change that aimed to turn its production into a more sustainable one, an industry of office supplies has started to face productive efficiency problems in the packaging sealing activity. Given this context, this study aimed to develop improvements for such activity. Heading from DMAIC methodology, the study applied a series of procedures to diagnose the problem, analyze it and implement a solution. As a result, the group projected a change in the sealing technology, a second change in raw material dimension, and a last change in the workstation layout. With such changes, there was an increase in productive efficiency, a reduction in waste, in addition to other gains. It was understood that, by optimizing the productive system, the work was able to generate a more sustainable and competitive production.
