MELHORAMENTO FLUVIAL DO RIO URUSSANGA PERTENCENTE À BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO URUSSANGA, SUL DE SANTA CATARINA
No melhoramento fluvial do rio Urussanga, objetivando a redução dos
impactos associados às chuvas intensas, com consequente inundação de áreas
mais suscetíveis aos efeitos da inundação, estão previstas uma série de atividades
relacionadas ao seu desassoreamento, sendo este executado de forma seletiva
numa extensão de 43,05 km. As análises químicas da água e sedimento,
caracterização/classificação, bem como a disposição final do material dragado
estão em consonância às Resoluções CONAMA 344/2004, 357/2005, 420/2009,
430/2011 e 454/2012. Com a recuperação dos distintos trechos do rio
Urussanga, prevê-se, além das melhorias ambientais e incremento na arrecadação
de tributos municipais, a revitalização econômica de toda a macrorregião,
notadamente no que se refere às atividades industriais, mineração e
agrossilvipastoris, além de benefícios sociais às comunidades que utilizam ou
vivem nas proximidades do corpo hídrico.

Abstract:
In the river improvement of Urussanga river, aiming to reduce the
impacts associated with heavy rains and consequent flooding of areas more
susceptible to the effects of flooding, are planned a series of activities related to its
dredging, which is performed selectively to an extent of 43,5 km. The chemical
analysis of water and sediment, characterization/classification and the disposal of
dredged material are in line with Resolutions CONAMA 344/2004, 357/2005,
420/2009, 430/2011and 454/2012. With the recovery of the different stretches
of the river Urussanga, it is expected, in addition to environmental improvements
and increase in the collection of municipal taxes, the economic revitalization of the
entire macro-region, notably with regard to industrial activities, mining and
agroforestry, as well social benefits to the communities that using or living near to
the water body.
