Abstract: The present work aims to provide a reflection on the importance of socio-educational measures, where it identifies the minor as the author of the infraction, based on the Statute of the Child and Adolescent and the Brazilian Federal Constitution, identifying the actions and omissions as well as the implementation of continuous public policies, aimed at the education and rehabilitation of minor offenders, in order to remedy the growing marginalization. The methodological procedure used to carry out this research starts from the qualitative approach of the descriptive-explanatory type, field research and bibliographical research, where "it is developed based on material already prepared, consisting mainly of books and scientific articles." (GIL, 2008, p. 28) field research was carried out in order to receive a response from the society where children and adolescents are inserted. The socio-educational measures have a legal provision for the practice of illicit acts, being provided for in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, “where adolescents, aged between 12 and 18 years old, are subjected to the socio-educational measures provided for in art. 112 of the Child and Adolescent Statute.” (ZAPATER, 2019). Where the typification of the infraction act cannot be a factor that hinders the target public's interest in resocialization, public policies aimed at resocialization must be intensified using humanization, while recognizing the minor as the author of the infraction act, recognizing themselves as human beings endowed with rights and duties where dignity is valued.
