MEDIDAS DE SEGURANÇA NO TRANSPORTE INTRA-HOSPITALAR: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

• Abstract: Objective: to identify, in the literature, the measures used by the nursing and multidisciplinary team for patient safety during intra-hospital transport. Method: Integrative review, which used the descriptors: intra-hospital patient transport, patient safety and nursing. Results: 6 articles were analyzed, from June to July 2023, selected from the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and the Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScIELO) database, with complete and free versions of publications, indexed in language Portuguese, a time frame between the years 2014 and 2022 and that met the research objective after reading their titles and abstracts. Conclusion: in this study, it was observed the need for a prior assessment of the patient to subject him to intra-hospital transport as an essential safety care, allowing health institutions to develop their own protocols for this purpose, as these do not exist in a standardized way. The study sought to evaluate most of the existing literature. However, some limitations may have occurred in this process, since there is probably research published in other languages ​​and in indexing bases not included in this study. Likewise, the authors acknowledge that important published research may have been omitted using our search strategy.
