Abstract: OBJECTIVE: In this study discusses the sham treatment with antioxidants, anti-aging and to function effectively in the gradual and increasing degeneracy factor alley. METHOD: analysis of the effectiveness of DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) and Growth Hormone (GH), used in anti-aging treatment in elderly patients, based on studies conducted worldwide, published in the Journal of the Institute of Jenny Andrade Faria in 2012 (Hospital University), UFMG/MG, Sector Geriatrics applied to clinical practice, because of its importance were discussed in the Graduate Course in Medicine, University of Gurupi/TO. RESULTS: selected cases we could verify the positive/negative, advantages/consequences in the application of DHEA-HC. CONCLUSION: The aging process is gradual, it can not be prevented.
