MEDICALIZAÇÃO E GÊNERO: BREVES REFLEXÕES SOBRE A CIÊNCIA E AS PRÁTICAS DE SAÚDE DA MULHER
O conhecimento científico, orientado por uma tentativa de neutralidade e universalidade dos saberes, edificou pressupostos sobre o corpo da mulher que reverberam até hoje nas práticas de saúde. Entretanto, a construção desse se deu, historicamente, por pessoas brancas, do sexo masculino. Ainda assim, a posição epistemológica pela qual a ciência foi hegemonicamente forjada, não compreende este dado como problemático ou relevante, acarretando em uma concepção automatizada e desencarnada do conhecimento. O corpo da mulher foi alvo das ciências biológicas, e seus discursos criaram destinos sobre aqueles que se dedicam. Versando-se sobre a mulher, falamos aqui sobre os saberes produzidos, especificamente, pela ginecologia e obstetrícia, que ao tomarem o corpo feminino como objeto de conhecimento, produzem práticas de gerenciamento do mesmo, resultando na chamada “medicina da mulher”. Essa fabricação instituiu os discursos médico-científicos sobre a mulher e seu viver, recusando uma subjetividade que eclode. O contexto da maternidade atual, campo em que nos fixamos, produz uma vivência em que estes saberes incidem e tomam o corpo da mulher, delimitando a experiência que é habitá-lo. Nesta lógica, a mulher está submetida ao império dos seus órgãos reprodutivos e engessada em uma forma específica de viver. Todavia, compreendemos, neste trabalho, em uma operacionalidade destes saberes médico-científicos para que a articulação da ciência com o mundo seja manejada para não ser feita com violência, mas com cuidado.

Abstract:
Scientific knowledge, guided by an attempt at neutrality and universality of knowledge, has built up assumptions about women's bodies that have reverberated until today in health practices. However, the construction of this has historically been done by white, male people. Even so, the epistemological position by which science was hegemonically forged, does not understand this data as problematic or relevant, leading to an automated and disincarnated conception of knowledge. Women's bodies have been the target of the biological sciences, and their discourses have created destinies for those who dedicate themselves. Looking at women, we talk here about the knowledge produced specifically by gynecology and obstetrics, which, by taking the female body as an object of knowledge, produce practices of its management, resulting in the so-called "women's medicine". This fabrication instituted the medical-scientific discourses about women and their life, refusing a subjectivity that hatch. The context of maternity today, the field in which we fix ourselves, produces an experience in which these knowledges influence and take over the woman's body, delimiting the experience that is to inhabit it. In this logic, the woman is submitted to the empire of her reproductive organs and plastered in a specific way of living. However, we understand, in this work, in an operationality of this medical-scientific knowledge so that the articulation of science with the world is managed not with violence, but with care.
