Abstract: This work is the result of a bibliographical review, whose objective is to discuss the possible mediations of psychologists in the development of higher psychological functions in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the light of Historical-cultural Psychology. According to this theory, the man is a being of a social nature, and everything that the human element provides from his life in society, under the culture created by humanity, as well as by means of social mediations that the individual develops his superior psychological functions. . This social question is determinant for the development of higher psychological functions and, precisely, it is the area of development with the greatest compromise of children with ASD. The psychologist through mediations and interventions can reach the potential of each individual, reinforcing or learning and consequently, or development. Creating other devices of cultural reorganization and with it, that or some appropriate the historically produced legacy.
