ME EMPRESTA SEU LÁPIS COR DE PELE?” UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE O EMBRANQUECIMENTO NA EDUCAÇÃO
Um estudo de caso que visa identificar manifestações racistas dos estudantes por meio da produção de autorretrato e demonstrar de maneira prática reflexos da ideologia do branqueamento no contexto escolar. Esta pesquisa tratou de buscar por intermédio dos próprios desenhos das crianças (autorretratos) a auto atribuição de cor e abrir espaço para discussões e reflexões que possam intervir em práticas racistas que são naturalizadas no cotidiano escolar. Notou-se que em uma sala onde a maioria dos alunos era negra, o lápis salmão é intitulado como “lápis cor de pele” e que foi o mais usado na hora de colorir o desenho, uma forma de embranquecimento do alunado. O ambiente escolar, que deveria valorizar a diversidade, tem sido lugar de perpetuação de práticas racistas, e que como reflexo há nos alunos uma dificuldade na afirmação de sua identidade, pois muitos deles possuem imagem distorcida de si.

Abstract:
A case study that aims to identify racists manifestations of students through the production of self-portrait and demonstrate in a practical way reflections of the ideology of whitening in the school context. This research is about examining through children 's own drawings (self-portraits) the self-attribution of color and to provide space for discussions and reflections that may intervene in racist practices that are naturalized in school. It was noted that in a room with most black students, the salmon pencil is titled as "skin color pencil" and was the most used in coloring the drawing, pointing to a way of whitening pupils. The school environment, which should support diversity, has been a place of perpetuation of racist practices, and that as a reflection there is a difficulty in the students' affirmation of their identity, since many of them have a distorted image of themselves.
