MÃOS E IMAGINÁRIOS QUE COSTURAM A HISTÓRIA DE SANTA CRUZ DO CAPIBARIBE-PE
Ao considerar a importância da cultura popular, das expressões e manifestações populares regionais, contemplamos a riqueza histórica do Polo de Confecções do Agreste de Pernambuco, estudando memórias e imaginários que dão identidade cultural ao município de Santa Cruz do Capibaribe. Neste estudo, destacamos, através da feira popular de confecções, a participação e contribuição da costureira santa-cruzense, ao transformar o imaginário, o simbólico, em forma de sobrevivência. O trabalho dessa profissional retrata uma cultura passada de geração a geração pelas ações do cotidiano familiar em todas as esferas do social. Também trazemos reflexões sobre o empreendedorismo feminino, favorecendo um novo olhar para as questões de gênero, em uma cidade sinônimo de oportunidades, uma verdadeira fonte viva de memórias, experiências, diálogos e conhecimentos.

Abstract:
When considering the importance of popular culture, regional expressions and popular manifestations, we contemplate the historical richness of the Confection Center of Agreste de Pernambuco, studying memories and imaginary that give cultural identity to the municipality of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe. In this study, we highlight, through the popular clothing fair, the participation and contribution of the seamstress santa-cruzense, by transforming the imaginary, the symbolic, in the form of survival. The work of this professional portrays a culture passed from generation to generation by the actions of the family's daily life in all spheres of the social. We also bring reflections on female entrepreneurship, favoring a new look at gender issues, in a city synonymous with opportunities, a true living source of memories, experiences, dialogues and knowledge.
