MANTENDO ACESA A CHAMA DO CANDEEIRO: ENSAIO SOBRE OS PRÓXIMOS PASSOS DO SANEAMENTO RURAL SOB AS LENTES DE QUEM FOMENTA O AGRONEGÓCIO NA BAHIA
Este artigo é um ensaio que se propõe a despertar a atenção dos gestores que tratam de pautas interligadas ao meio rural, trazendo-os a pensar na intersetorialidade do saneamento rural, e como ele permeia nas diversas estruturas da Administração Pública. Outro aspecto importante é apresentar as iniciativas acerca dessa temática, principalmente as ações da Secretaria Estadual de Agricultura Pecuária, Irrigação, Pesca e Aquicultura que ganharam protagonismo e reconhecimento internacional, na concepção e execução do Programa Estadual MAIS DIGNIDADE NO CAMPO, que tem tornado a Bahia referência para o governo federal.

Abstract:
This article is an essay that aims to arouse the attention of managers who deal with issues linked to the rural environment, bringing them to think about the intersectoriality of rural sanitation, and how it permeates the various structures of Public Administration. Another important aspect is to present the initiatives on this theme, especially the actions of the State Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Fisheries and Aquaculture that gained prominence and international recognition, in the design and execution of the MORE DIGNIDADE NO CAMPO State Program, which has made Bahia a reference to the federal government.
