Abstract: Rotational management is an innovative rational agricultural management practice, which allows a break with the traditional management model and integrates into its method the relationship between soil, plants and animals. This model consists of direct management by the animal and uses rotation in pastures, where a number of animals remain for a certain period, within a part of that pasture. Therefore, this work aims to carry out a bibliographical review on the rotational management of cattle and carbon sequestration, as well as the influence of both on agriculture. This work covers extremely important topics for understanding this topic, such as; Carbon Cycle in Pasture; Stimulation of plant growth; Improvement in Soil Structure; Nutrient Cycling and Addition of Organic Matter; Reduction of Erosion and Carbon Loss; Contribution to Ecosystem Health. This type of work methodology can generate large production, within cattle farming, in a sustainable and efficient way, in addition to conserving nature without major losses and economic losses. In this sense, it is necessary to demystify the issue of livestock farming as a polluting activity, as this depends on the way cattle are managed.
