Abstract: The objective of this work was to analyze the development of bee wax production from honeycomb wax bait, inserted in hives populated by Africanized honeybees in a Cerrado Amazônia transition environment. The study was carried out with the insertion of honeycomb wax slides of 5 cm wide and 43 cm long in nest frames, with periodic evaluation at average intervals of 15 days. From this, the development and time with which the bees do the pulling/production of wax was analyzed. That said, it can be concluded that in the region of Araguaína-TO, in the period of bee production, the bees take between 15 and 90 days to complete the construction of the comb.
