MANEJO FARMACOLÓGICO DEL PACIENTE PEDIÁTRICO CON INFECCIÓN DE VÍAS RESPIRATORIAS BAJAS – NEUMONÍA
Objetivo Describir el protocolo farmacológico del manejo de paciente con infecciones
de vías respiratorias bajas dado en el Hospital General Guasmo Sur. Metodología La
presente investigación está enmarcada en un caso clínico real desarrollado en el
hospital general Guasmo Sur para la fundamentación teórica de la investigación se
realizó una investigación documental mediante una revisión bibliográfica de artículos
relacionados con el tema, con cinco años de vigencia, tomado de las bases, Latindex,
Scielo. Resultado de los 12 artículos seleccionados, se observó que las presencias de
las infecciones de vías respiratorias bajas son a causa de patógenos que ingresan por
las vías respiratorias altas los cuales posteriormente causan una inflamación del daño
epitelial de las células del aparato respiratorio desencadenando los signos y síntomas
de la enfermedad. Conclusión al realizar el protocolo farmacológico en el manejo de
paciente con infecciones de vías respiratorias bajas se concluye que esta investigación
es de gran importancia para la práctica de la enfermería moderna debido a que
contiene estrategitas con planes de cuidados individualizados en cada paciente que
presenta esta patología para lo cual debemos de recordar que en el aspecto
anatomofisiologico el pulmón es el órgano principal afectado, posterior a esto conocer
la fisiopatología para saber las pasos a seguir para su tratamiento y los cuidados que
necesita el paciente.

Abstract:
Respiratory Objective to describe the pharmacological protocol for the management of
patients with lower respiratory tract infections given at the Guasmo Sur General
Hospital. Methodology The present investigation is framed in a real clinical case
developed in the Guasmo Sur General Hospital for the theoretical foundation of the
investigation, a documentary investigation was carried out through a bibliographic
review of articles related to the subject, with five years of validity, taken from the bases,
Latindex, Scielo. As a result of the 12 selected articles, it was observed that the
presence of lower respiratory tract infections is due to pathogens that enter through the
upper respiratory tract, which subsequently cause inflammation of the epithelial damage
of the cells of the respiratory system, triggering the signs and symptoms. symptoms of
the disease. Conclusion When carrying out the pharmacological protocol in the
management of patients with lower respiratory tract infections, it is concluded that thisresearch is of great importance for the practice of modern nursing because it contains
strategists with individualized care plans in each patient who presents this pathology. for
which we must remember that in the anatomophysiological aspect the lung is the main
organ affected, after this to know the pathophysiology to know the steps to follow for its
treatment and the care that the patient needs.
