Abstract: Dermatopathies constitute a significant demand in Primary Health Care (PHC). This review aims to discuss the current state of management of dermatopathies in PHC, focusing on approaches, challenges, and opportunities to enhance the provision of dermatological care. In this regard, aspects such as prevalence, precise diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, patient education, and the application of teledermatology are addressed. Challenges include limited resources and the need for continuous training of health professionals. Collaboration between primary care and dermatology specialists is crucial to overcome these challenges, ensuring quality care accessible to all patients with dermatopathies.
