LOUCURA E O CUIDADO EM PSIQUIATRIA E SAÚDE MENTAL: UMA SÍNTESE REFLEXIVA
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo tecer uma síntese reflexiva acerca da loucura e o cuidado em psiquiatria e saúde mental. Este artigo foi construído a partir de questionamentos e provocações advindas de diferentes cenários, quais sejam: da discência na disciplina intitulada “Saberes e Práticas em Saúde Mental” no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Enfermagem Psiquiátrica da Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de São Paulo- Ribeirão Preto e das reflexões que surgem da nossa inserção enquanto enfermeiros em diferentes cenários de práticas assistenciais e de cuidado em saúde mental. Tal síntese foi desenvolvida com base nas referências bibliográficas, documentários e filmes sugeridos na disciplina e está estruturada em três seções. Estas foram construídas a partir das perguntas que se seguem: 1) Quais caminhos a loucura e o cuidado em psiquiatria e saúde mental percorreram até chegarem ao Brasil?; 2) Os ares das reformas nos modos de se pensar o cuidado em psiquiatria e saúde mental provocaram quais mudanças?; e 3) Quais rupturas paradigmáticas no cuidado em psiquiatria e saúde mental foram verificadas com o advento do modelo de atenção psicossocial?. No final da reflexão trazemos algumas palavras que apontam para caminhos possíveis no cuidado em saúde mental.

Abstract:
The present work is a reflective synthesis that was built from questions and provocations arising from different scenarios, namely: from the discipline entitled "Knowledge and Practices in Mental Health" in the Graduate Program in Psychiatric Nursing at the School of Nursing from the University of São Paulo- Ribeirão Preto and the reflections that arise from our insertion as nurses in different scenarios of care practices and mental health care. This synthesis was based on bibliographic references, documentaries and films suggested in the discipline and is structured in three sections. These were constructed from the following questions: 1) What paths did madness and care in psychiatry and mental health take until they arrived in Brazil?; 2) The airs of the reforms in the ways of thinking about care in psychiatry and mental health caused which changes?; and 3) What paradigmatic ruptures in psychiatry and mental health care were observed with the advent of the psychosocial care model? Based on these first words and without intending to exhaust the possibilities of reflective constructions on the subject, we present the objective of weaving a reflective synthesis about madness and care in psychiatry and mental health. At the end of the reflection, we bring some words that point to possible paths in mental health care.
